Viviendas de apoyo DESC Burien Información
DESC is working on an affordable housing development in Burien, located at 801 SW 150th Street to create much-needed stable, supportive housing for vulnerable people experiencing homelessness. Our plans include construction of a new building, in the beginning of 2022. When complete, the new building will feature approximately 95 studio units of affordable housing with supportive services and indoor/outdoor community spaces for the tenants, single adults who are disabled and formerly homeless. Twenty-five units will be used to house veterans experiencing homelessness. DESC will continue to own and operate the building after completion.
In an effort to learn more about neighborhood interests and provide neighbors with more details about the project, DESC hosted a virtual informational meeting on February 23rd, 2021 via Zoom about this new housing development. Read a copy of the community notification letter about the 2/23rd virtual informational meeting.
